Teo

Terms of Service

Effective date: July 8, 2026

These Terms are a practical starter document for Teo and should be reviewed by counsel before relying on them as legal advice.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Teo, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Teo.

2. What Teo does

Teo is a bring-your-own-key AI assistant for Android. Features may include code building and preview, AI workflows and sub-agent coordination, web research, BYOK AI-provider access, Google sign-in, optional Google Drive backup, and detection of local Google AI Edge Gallery models when available.

3. Accounts and Google sign-in

Teo uses Google sign-in for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account and for all activity associated with your Teo account.

4. Google Drive

If you grant the permission, Teo can back up and restore its own workflows, documents, and code projects in a “Teo Workspace” folder in your Google Drive. Teo requests only the non-sensitive drive.file scope, which grants access solely to files Teo creates, so it cannot see your other Drive files. Teo does not store this content on Teo servers, sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models, and its use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Teo’s access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

5. Bring your own key

If you connect third-party AI provider keys, you authorize Teo to use those keys to perform AI actions you initiate. You are responsible for charges, rate limits, provider terms, data handling, and any restrictions imposed by the providers you connect.

6. Local models

Teo may detect compatible local models, including Google AI Edge Gallery models, and use them for supported workflows. Local model availability, quality, performance, and compatibility are not guaranteed.

7. User content and outputs

You are responsible for prompts, workflow content, app context, files, instructions, and other material you provide. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating outputs before relying on them, shipping code, publishing content, or making business decisions.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Teo to:

9. Third-party services

Teo may integrate with Google, AI model providers, local model tooling, infrastructure vendors, or other third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Teo is not responsible for third-party actions or outages.

10. Intellectual property

Teo, including its design, software, branding, and documentation, is owned by The Aece Studio or its licensors. You retain rights to your own content, subject to the permissions needed for Teo to operate the service.

11. Beta and changes

Teo may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be experimental or beta-quality and may not work as expected.

12. Disclaimers

Teo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be correct, secure, compliant, or suitable for production use.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Aece Studio and Teo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, provider charges, app store issues, or business interruption arising from your use of Teo.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or use Teo in a way that may harm the service, users, third parties, or The Aece Studio.

15. Governing terms

These Terms are governed by applicable law unless a mandatory local law provides otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
